Ilna Ewers-Wunderwald (1878–1957), wife of Hanns-Heinz Ewers, was a true Art Nouveau icon and Zagava proudly presents her works after they were mostly forgotten for more than one hundred years. The myth-loving artist entered transrational realms with her abundant fantasy. She was celebrated by art critics before the First World War, exhibited successfully at the Berlin Secession and her book and fashion designs were well received.
A 32-page biography is accompanied by over 30 historic photos and illustrations, followed by 44 full-page color plates, 13 black-and-white drawings and 34 pages with her illustrative and book design work.
