Mark Samuels’ untimely passing remains very much incomprehensible. With his reputation as one of the most consistently uncompromising and unique voices in contemporary ‘strange literature’ being cemented and new readers contantly being introduced to his back catalogue, I consider it an honor to be allowed to be able to include the most fabled and sought-after of his books in Zagava’s definitive collection of Mark Samuels’ works.
